I have over 30 years of experience in teaching Natural Science to students of all ages as well as adult learners. I have taken training at the Louisville Zoo, am a wildlife aficionado and enjoy my wildlife photography. I also am currently a hydroponic gardener at my home in Florida. I use my knowledge, training and resources to bring valuable experience to my teaching of Science. 1. Animal Science- I provide instruction on animal habitats, the life cycle of animals, animal biology, the needs of animals in order to survive, adaptations of animals to the It environment, how animals are beneficial to humans as food, transportation, assistance and more. 2. Plant Science- I provide instruction on plants, the environmental effects on vegetation, growth cycle of various plants, how various plants are beneficial to humans, such as food, medicines, furniture and more. 3. Additionally I provide instruction on the various landforms and bodies of water on the earth, how weather affects different areas of life on earth, the variety of environments found around the globe and how changes affect them, the solar system including the sun, moon, stars and planets in our own galaxy. I individualize instruction for students when they need additional assistance with understanding topics presented during the lesson. I utilize various materials to facilitate learning, including but not limited to photos, props, live demonstrations, video clips, PowerPoint materials and more.
