去年9月，我有開始學習英文的需求。我上網找了一些線上家教平台，最後我選擇了Amazing Talker，因為它提供詳細的教師個人資訊。
在Amazing Talker，我找到Melody老師，同時也是我的學習夥伴，來幫助我達成目標。
首先，我想談談關於我是如何找到Melody老師的。在Amazing Talker 平台上有很多老師，在看過許多老師的自我介紹後，我發現自己似乎有選擇障礙，即使有做條件篩選。在完成幾堂試聽課後，我看到Melody老師的簡介。在Melody老師的簡介中，有一部分是這樣寫的: "沒有錯! 我的課程並不便宜，但我可以給你.....。" 是的，我忘記後面的內容了，哈哈~ 一開始，我只是想要看看為什麼一個人可以這麼有自信呢? 所以我買了一堂她的一堂她的試聽課。當我第一次和Melody老師上課時，我明白了一切。我不會跟你說她有多棒、多厲害，但是我可以說，這是一個我從來沒有體驗過的高品質課程。
到今天，我依然在跟Melody老師學習英文，不論是團體課或一對一課程。 在她的課程中，"保持好奇心"和"感到愉快"是很重要的上課態度。因為這項要求，讓我有勇氣開口說英文，並在Melody老師的英文社區結交新朋友。 對我來說，這不僅是學習英文，更讓我看到世界。如果你想給自己一次改變的機會，那就來找Melody老師吧!
Last September, I needed to learn English for a specific purpose so I started surfing the Internet to find an online tutor. I came across a lot of websites offering English lessons and tutorial services. Then I found Amazing Talker, a platform which shows you the teacher’s profile thus allowing you the opportunity to find the right fit.
And, on Amazing Talker, I then found Melody who is now my learning friend helping me achieve my English proficiency goals.
Let me tell you about how I have come to choose Melody to be my English teacher. There are many teachers on AT whose profiles made it hard for me to decide even though I had already determined the conditions for my selection. After taking some trial lessons with other teachers, I saw Melody’s profile. A part of her introduction went, “Yes! My lessons are not cheap. But I can give you...” I have already forgotten the rest of it but it surely made an impression on me. Haha~ At first, I just wanted to see how a person could be that confident so I bought the trial lesson that. When I took my first lesson with her, that was when I understood everything. I will not be detailing how good she is, but I can tell you it was a lesson of such quality that I had never experienced with others before. I knew then that my search was over.
Today, I still continue learning English with Melody through one-on-one lessons and group sessions. In her class, we are encouraged to “be curious” and to “have fun” as both are important in the learning process. With the environment that she has created, I am now brave enough to communicate in English and make new friends in Melody’s English community. For me, it’s not only about learning English but also learning about the world, and Melody has been able to help with both.
